In the Andes Mountains, precisely in the Andean Cordillera de la Choica, is the Pehuenche Pass, a wilderness of immense beauty. It is in this place, at the base of Cerro Campanario, where our Base Camp is situated.
The camp is located just a couple of kilometres from the, in Argentinean territory. The nearest town, 34km away, is Las Loicas, and the nearest city is Malargüe, 134km away.

It can be accessed by any vehicle since we have a paved road in optimal conditions, which passes 200 meters from our base. In the winter, it is necessary to carry chains for vehicles. On many occasions, the usage of chains is necessary due to ice on the road and/or heavy snowfalls.
Malargüe has the Comodoro Ricardo Salomón airport, which operates with the company Lade.
Mendoza, El Plumerillo airport, receives national and international flights from many companies. It is located 470km from Real del Pehuenche.
San Rafael, Santiago Germano Airport, operates daily flights from Buenos Aires and is 322km from Real del Pehuenche.
From Malargüe, it takes 90-120 minutes in the vehicle to arrive at Real del Pehuenche. You will find 140km on a paved road, which is in excellent condition and has stunning landscapes.
